A small tileset (if you could call it that) I made for my game. I won't use it that much really and I figure that it may be useful for someone. No need to credit if you use it, go nuts.

  • 16x16 tiles
  • Parallax background
  • Includes PSD files and palettes for easy editing

This asset can be used on any project you like, no need to credit if used but is appreciated , don't try to resell it as your own or I'll come for you.

And if would like a full tileset and support me in the process consider buying my other tilesets here:

Last year I was approached by a relative with the skill and wisdom needed to pull off designing the games in my head. Neither of us have artistic skill and we are at the point of needing to wrestle with graphics. I plan to take some inexpensive assets and  manipulate them through my extremely limited knowledge of GIMP, to fit my needs. Forrest Pass is my first download to attempt this plan. If I am able to figure out how to make this work, then I will be buying the UnderGround Fields pak.
Either way, I will return here to update the results of my endeavor in case there is some one considering the same approach with  no artistic skills at all.

in the event that my fears are warranted, I would appreciate any advice, if i need to start looking to hire out with limited funds.

well it looks like my limited knowledge of GIMP is bigger than my lack of artistic skill. gimp does not recognize the file type.

if anybody has a suggestion, I'm all ears.

Thank you! I am going to find this very handy indeed!
